In 2004 I obtained my diploma at the “Amaldi High-school” in Rome.
During the last three years of high-school I participated in the MEP project, “Model European Parliament”, i.e. a simulation of the European Parliament where the “members” are high-school students coming from all over Italy.
This project gave me the opportunity to distinguish myself among hundreds of Italian students, thanks to which I was selected to represent Italy at the MEP in Helsinki – as a “member” – and at the MEP in Luxemburg, this time acting as “President of the Commission”.
This has been for me an enriching experience both at an academic level, but most of all at a human level; it made me grow, strengthening my already present international, multicultural and independent spirit.
After a particular working experience between 2005 and 2009, during which I was employed with an import & export company dealing with the retail sale of prestige games and magic tricks, where I learned many things, particularly with regard to the international shipment of goods, in 2009 I approached the relocation world.
For nearly 3 years I was engaged in planning and providing the international transfer of personal effects and goods for customers coming from and going to all over the world.
Around the middle of 2012, I received a proposal which entailed the starting off and developing from scratch a pet department. This was the beginning of a very intense journey, during which my commitment was 101%, enabling me to continue to grow day after day, carrying out the role of Area Manager for more than 12 years, leading a team of 4 persons. During those years I have had the pleasure to assist a wide range of customers, learning and managing various types of expectations and, consequently, of communication.
After an experience which lasted more than 15 years, in 2024 I decided to start my own project, thus giving life to “AM Pet Movers”.
I am a very empathic person; I like to listen to whoever I may have in front of me and put them at their ease. I like creating an atmosphere of mutual sharing, both during difficult and successful times, in order to make everyone be a participant.
I believe in the importance of a direct and concrete communication, yet always respectful.
Surely, I am ambitious, but never at the point of prevaricating interpersonal relations which I consider more important than anything else.
I come from a humble family; above all my parents taught me the importance of the fundamental values of life, such as humbleness, respect and simplicity, but also the importance of not waiting for things to happen by themselves, that it is necessary to set goals and work hard in order to achieve them.
I love music; it accompanies me during most of my days. I studied piano for 8 years and obtained my diploma at the Conservatory in theory of music and solfege.
I love travelling and when I reach a new place, I especially like to try to understand the essence of the everyday living of common people; not that I don’t like monuments – living in Rome gives me quite a wide choice – but what really strikes me are the simple peculiarities of new places.
I try to practice sports quite continuously: futsal, padel, running. During the winter months I like snowboarding, a sport I recently discovered and love to practice.
Above all, I have always loved animals. During my childhood and adolescence, I have always had a dog waiting for me at home. Presently, I have a dog and a cat and I couldn’t be able to imagine my life without them. A home cannot be defined as such if there isn’t a furry sweetie waiting for you when you get home after a long working day.
A family moving abroad is never completely reunited until they can embrace their little furry friend.
Reuniting families, making pets travel safely and supporting their loved ones is not only my profession but above all my mission.
